# Asking the assistant about a supplier

The assistant can now tell you which items a supplier is linked to. Asked to remove a supplier, it tells you how, rather than offering a change that would not do it.

## What it got wrong

Before suggesting that anyone ask the assistant to tidy up the (Multiple) supplier earlier imports created, we asked it ourselves. It offered to clear the supplier on six items, three of which had never been linked to it. That change would only have rewritten the supplier name the Items list shows. The supplier and its links would have stayed as they were, while the card said Supplier: Cleared.

## What changed

- It can list the items a supplier is linked to, with the price from that supplier and whether it is each item's default. Where two suppliers share a name, it tells you about both.
- Its item editor no longer offers the supplier name, since changing that never changed a supplier.
- Asked to remove a supplier, it shows you what the supplier is linked to and where to remove it. A supplier you typed in has Delete supplier on its page under Suppliers. One connected through Local Marketplace has Disconnect there instead, which keeps its links but stops using them.
