Make a packaging set or an option group from the menu item that needs it, and put a recipe on the menu from Recipes with a price for each size.

## What was asked for

Setting up the menu meant a lot of going back and forth. Choosing what a size is served in meant leaving the item for the Packaging page, making the set there, and coming back to pick it. The options an item offers were changed on the Options page, and a recipe could only be put on the menu from the Menu page. The ask was to make what the menu needs from wherever you are when you need it.

## Packaging and options from the item

Each size's Served in list now ends with New packaging set. It opens the packaging form over the item, and the set you save is chosen on that size, with everything typed in the item kept. Use for every size then serves the other sizes in it. Add recipes to the menu has the same list, and shows it even before any packaging exists.

The options an item offers are now switches in the item itself, and New option group makes one already offered on it. When an option puts in something the handbook has no item for yet, like a new syrup, it can be added to inventory from the option.

## Recipes onto the menu

A recipe that is not on the menu has Put on the menu when you open it. Give each size a price and what it is served in, and it goes on the menu under the recipe's name and category. A recipe that is on the menu says so, with a link to each menu item made from it. In the editor, Put it on the menu after saving does the same for a new recipe once it is saved.

Before an edit renames or removes a size that a menu item is made from, it now says which items it affects, and deleting a recipe on the menu does the same. Those items keep their prices either way, but their costs leave the recipe out until each is pointed at another size.

## What else changed

A size served in nothing, such as a drink for here in a mug, says so under its cost with a link to choose packaging, instead of looking fully costed. Picking a recipe for a new item no longer clears what its sizes are served in, and a packaging line counts a cup as one cup rather than a cup of liquid. Everything here is for owners and admins; staff see the menu as before.
